Include a description and information relating to the type of bowls being played at your Club, including types such as Pennant, Social or Barefoot, Corporate, Tournament, etc… and links to entries via BowlsLink for these competitions and events.

Pennant

Include competition names, dates, formats, eligibility and more to help members identify the Pennant competitions your Club is involved. Recommended to also include a link to the team selection of the Pennant squads to create a central point on your site for members to visit.

Social and Barefoot Bowls

Here you can link or make mention of any Social/Barefoot Bowls the Club may be hosting, i.e. Friday Night Barefoot Bowls.

Using BowlsLink’s Programs, Clubs can create a competition with QR code entry that new or existing members can scan to easliy enter.

Tournament

Highlight the tournaments your Club is involved in as a Team or hosting. Tournament examples include, Club Championships, Annual Tournaments, National Ranking Events and those hosted by a Region, Group, or Association, which your Club is part.

Tournament formats typically include:

  • Pairs Events
  • Triples Days
  • Community Bowls & Social Competitions

Players of all experience levels are encouraged to get involved and enjoy the competitive spirit of club-based events.

As part of the Metro Region, our Club members can broaden their competitive experience by entering regional events or nominating for representative teams.

These opportunities include:

  • Regional Singles Champion of Champions (Qualify by winning our Club Championship)

  • Nomination for Trial Metro Regional Representative Sides
